The New York Jets didn’t play in Week 12, but they still continue to garner headlines.
Following a slew of weekend reports regarding the future of Aaron Rodgers, interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said on Monday that the club has no plans to shut down the 40-year-old quarterback, noting he looks healthier coming off the bye.
“All I can say — and you’d have to ask Aaron if he’s fully healthy — but he’s better off today than he’s been as of late,” Ulbrich told reporters. “So he’s definitely feeling healthier than he has for probably the last month, and a healthy Aaron Rodgers is the Aaron Rodgers we all love. So, excited about what that looks like.”
