Lamb first suffered his shoulder injury in Dallas’ Week 9 loss to the Falcons but hasn’t missed a game this season. In 15 contests this year, he caught 101 passes (which is tied for second in the NFL entering Week 17) for 1,194 yards (which ranks third) and six touchdowns. In the Cowboys’ win over the Buccaneers in Week 16, Lamb had his 21st career 100-yard receiving game, trailing only Jason Witten, Michael Irvin, Tony Hill and Bob Hayes, who all sit at 22, in franchise history.
Lamb is the first Cowboy with 100-plus receptions and 1,000 or more receiving yards in three straight seasons. With 496 career receptions, Lamb only needed 15 catches over his final two games to set the record for most receptions over a player’s first five NFL seasons, currently held by former Saints WR Michael Thomas (510).
The Cowboys close out the regular season with a road game at the Philadelphia Eagles and the season finale at home against the Washington Commanders.
