Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons (illness) is expected to play in the Sunday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources.
Parsons popped up on the injury report on Friday with an illness. He did not participate in Friday’s practice and Dallas listed the three-time Pro Bowler as questionable for Week 16.
The 12th overall pick from the 2021 draft has been one of the bright spots in a tough season for a Cowboys team that has been dealing with injuries to key players. The two-time All-Pro linebacker missed four games earlier this season due to high ankle sprain in Week 4. This week, Parsons told reporters that he’d like to sign a long-term extension before free agency kicks off in March.
